I wanted something with character for the holiday and the BMW delivered. Real acceleration, sharp steering, and it tracks beautifully on the run to Phang Nga.

The suspension is firm, so broken tarmac is felt more than in an ordinary sedan. That's the price of the handling and I knew it going in.
The deposit is higher than on standard cars, but that was stated clearly in advance and refunded on the spot at return.
Five days of business meetings. It looks right pulling into a hotel forecourt, and driven calmly the fuel use is perfectly reasonable.
